Getting around in Bodø
Public Transport
In 2021, Bodø became one of the first cities in the world to launch a fully electric bus service. All buses in the city center of Bodø are electric, allowing you to travel around with a clear conscience. In addition to brand new buses, most buses also have charging points, seat belts, and plenty of space.
The Nord University Bodø campus (venue for the PDW Day 20 May) is located in Mørkved, about 10 km from Bodø city centre. Bus line 2 runs frequently between the city centre (bus stop “Bodø sentrum”) and the university (bus stop “Universitetet”). Also, Bus line 1 goes close to the university (bus stop “Hokkåsterassen”).
